'Harry Potter' To Be Turned Into HBO Series

HBO Max have confirmed plans to show a TV adaption of J.K Rowling's Harry Potter books.

The streaming service confirmed this news, with each season to be reportedly based on one of Rowling's entries from the Harry Potter series, with talks having aken place last month.

No further details regarding a release date or casting were confirmed at the time of writing.

Between 2001-2011, Warner Bros brought J.K Rowling's books to cinema screens, starting with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, with the final installment arriving 10 years later with Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows Part II, with all eight films generating $7.7 billion at the box office.
