The Lizzie McGuire star announced this ahead of the release of her upcoming album, 'luck...or something', which arrives next Friday (February). Duff also announced the new single, Roomates, which can be check out below.
Back in January, Hilary Duff also performed This Is What Dreams Are Made Of live on stage for the very first time at the launch night for her Small Rooms, Big Nerves Tour in London.
In a previous interview, Hilary Duff gave an insight into how her relationship with the song has evolved over the years.
“I don’t even remember recording it — I was only 14,” she said. “It wasn’t technically my song. It was a Lizzie McGuire song".
“When I sing it now, I feel a lot of joy,” she added. “I didn’t really get to perform it live back then because I didn’t own it. But I always thought, if I ever toured again, maybe somehow I’d get to sing it.”
The song itself had also originally featured in 2003’s The Lizzie McGuire Movie, closing Duff’s 17-song. Fans later described the performance as “healing”, “surreal” and “everything teenage me needed”. More on this story here.
