Following her recent visit to Limerick, Jamie Lynn Spears was enamoured by both the scenery and the people.

The Zoey 101 star recently took a trip to the city with her daughters Maddie Briann Aldridge and Ivey Joan Watson, who all posted snippets for their time away on social media, as they travelled through counties Limerick and Clare..

Spears and her daughters stayed at the Strand Hotel for their trip, as well as enjoyed fish and chips at the Glen Tavern, and toasted a pint of Guinness to Maddie, who celebrated her 18th birthday.

Photos of the family strolling through Cruises Street, as well as enjoying dessert from Gino's Gelato were also shared. They also visited Bunratty Castle and the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.

Following this, Jamie Lynn Spears expressed her gratitude to the people that they met during their stay.

“I was fortunate enough to visit Ireland, and it has some of the most breathtaking scenery you could ever imagine, but what makes it so special is the people", she wrote on social media. “We felt so welcomed by each and every person we met from the hotel staff, to the local shops and more".

Spears was also pleasantly surprised when she turned on Irish Netflix and found out her show, Sweet Magnolias is the second most trending show in the country.

“Crazy to see how much it connects to people from all parts of the world", she said. “I think it meant even more to see the people in Ireland loved it, because their community is so warm and welcoming to all who come".

Concluding her post, Jamie Lynn Spears added: “I have so many more pics to share, but just wanted to express how much we enjoyed our time, but more than that how much we enjoyed each and every person we got to meet!".

Earlier this month, Jamie Lynn Spears revealed in an interview with People Magazine that she was told her "life was over" after getting pregnant when she was 16 years old.

"I was called the biggest letdown in the world", she said before adding: "I was told my life was over. It was really, really tough not to believe those things". More on this story here.
