Kardashian appeared on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast and spoke about her divorce from West. Kardashian said to host Alex Cooper that West had "erratic" behaviour which left her feeling on edge.
"You never know what you’re going to get when you wake up, and that’s a really unsettling feeling," Kardashian said.
Cooper asked her what her final straw was and what made her decide to finally leave the marriage. She said that the lack of stability played a huge role in her decision to leave, and that West was "airing out a lot of personal stuff" including their discussions of abortion when she first fell pregnant.
The couple were married for eight years and share three children together. Kardashian states that their children live with her but she welcomes "a great healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. He knows that," she said.
"I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when it’s time for that and it goes in waves and phases. It’s a lot of work," she continued.
She also mentioned that West had not been in contact with their children in a "couple of months."
Kardashian also expressed how she feared that she would be shut out of the fashion and art realms when the couple divorced as West intially introduced her to them. Although she states that "some of my biggest projects came about after I made that decision," and that "it was the universe rewarding me and showing me that I was moving in the right direction."
