Madonna is reportedly set to make a surprise appearance at Pride in London this weekend, just one day after the release of her new album, Confessions II.
According to reports, the pop icon could take to the main stage during Saturday's celebrations, although organisers are said to be keeping plans flexible until the last minute.
The rumoured appearance follows Madonna's recent surprise performance in New York City, where she teamed up with dating app Grindr for an impromptu set celebrating Pride Month and the launch of her latest record.

A source told The Sun that the singer is hoping to make a special appearance in the UK capital because of her long-standing support for the LGBTQ+ community.
“Madonna is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has been a very vocal campaigner for decades. Pride means so much to her and the London event happens the day after Confessions II is released.”
The insider added that, while she is not expected to perform a full set, organisers are hopeful she will address the crowd.
“Organisers are playing it by ear in case of any last-minute changes but as it stands, Madonna is primed to come out on the main stage. She isn’t going to be performing like she did in New York. It’s more her coming out, speaking to the crowd and then heading off.”
They continued: “They’re expecting absolute pandemonium if they pull it off. But it would be incredible for everyone going to the Pride event in London.”

If the appearance goes ahead, Madonna will join a packed programme of entertainment across the capital. MNEK is due to headline the Trafalgar Square stage, while Beth Ditto is also among the performers scheduled to appear.
The event will feature six stages showcasing artists, speakers and performers from across the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
Neither Madonna nor Pride in London organisers have officially confirmed the reported appearance.
