Martin Scorsese To Produce New Beatles Documentary 'Beatles 64'

This film will look at the Fab Four's arrival at Kennedy Airport in New York City on 7 February 1964. It will also intimately capture the camaraderie between the bandmembers Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and 

‘Beatles 64’ will also feature newly filmed interviews with Beatles pair Paul McCartney and Ringo, as well as the band’s debut performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, which attracted over 73 million viewers.

Rare footage will also be included in this documentary from the Beatles’ first US show at the Washington Coliseum.

Martin Scorsese To Produces Beatles Movie 

As mentioned, Beatles 64 will be produced by Martin Scorsese, alongside Margaret Bodde, Mikaela Beardsley, and Jonathan Clyde, as well as directed by Dave Tedeschi.

Scorsese had previously directed George Harrison: Living In The Material World, which looked at the life and music of the late musician. Rick Horn and Jeff Jones will serve as executive producers.

Beatles 64 will be available to stream from November 29 on Disney+. 

It will also be released a day after another Beatles’ doc, ‘1964’ is released to Apple TV
