Only Fools and Horses star Patrick Murray, has died aged 68.
Murray, best known for his role as Mickey Pearce in the British sitcom, has passed away following a battle with cancer. The actor had previously been diagnosed with lung cancer in 2022, before been given the all-clear later that year.
However, he confirmed that the illness had returned, spreading to his leg and pelvis the following year.
His death was confirmed by a rep, who revealed that the actor died in his sleep, surrounded by his family and friends.
“Patrick’s sharp comedic timing and unforgettable turn as Del Boy’s rakish mate made Mickey Pearce a fan favourite across generations", Pearce said. “Beyond the screen, Patrick was a warm, generous presence who cherished meeting fans and remained immensely proud of his connection to the show".

“Patrick’s unforgettable portrayal of Mickey – the trilby-wearing wide-boy, always on the make and often leading Rodney into trouble – brought laughter to millions and made him a cherished part of the show", they said. “Away from the screen, Patrick was warm, kind and genuine. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this very sad time".
