Aoife Walsh's bridal era got off to a very glam start over the weekend when she celebrated her recent engagement with her nearest and dearest.
The former Miss Ireland was stunned when her partner Ben got down on one knee during a romantic trip away in September.
Sharing photos from their party, Aoife looked every inch the glowing bride-to-be in a sparkling By Watters mini dress, which was adorned with glittering bows.

She added even more sparkle through her jewellery and kept the bridal white theme going by wearing white heels to complete her look.
Bows seemed to be something of a theme for the night, with perfectly tied black ribbon bows used as decor at the Stamp Room in Cork.

Aoife placed bows on her cream and gold balloon arch and also on her impressive Lambeth-style cake, which she couldn't resist showing off her sparkling engagement ring against.
The sweetest black bow of the night, though, was undoubtedly the one in Aoife's daughter Penelope's hair.
'Someone gave her a euro and it absolutely made her night! Held onto it and showing everyone! So cute.'

Other lovely details from the party included Polaroid photos of the soon-to-be newlyweds and a champagne tower set-up.
Aoife also created personalised newspapers for her engagement party, using a photo from her engagement day for the cover.

Aoife's engagement announcement in September came only weeks after the model hard-launched her new romance on social media with an adorable video with her new beau.
She later thanked her followers for their support when she announced her engagement, saying it can be 'nerve-wracking' to share such big news, especially as a mum.

Aoife said: 'We've been quietly in the love bubble for a while and just so happy living life and having space and time to grow.'
'He is honestly the most incredible, kind, thoughtful person I have ever met, and I'm so lucky that the universe brought us together. Life is so sweet right now, and I couldn't be more grateful.'
'Penny loves him' Aoife Walsh gushes about her new fiancé and his bond with her daughter
