Rosanna Davison and husband Wesley Quirke are counting down the days until they move into their former home.
The well-known couple have been in the process of renovating their forever home over the past eighteen months, transforming a ramshackle shell into their dream abode for their three adorable children.
After gutting the house, the couple are finally on the home stretch with Rosanna telling Extra.ie that they hope to be settled in by next week.
‘We’re on the home run now,’ a nearly delighted Rosanna told Extra. ‘We’re just down to the last few bits. And we’re waiting for the wifi to be installed. There’s no way we could move in without wifi with three young children to keep entertained.’
Rosanna and Wes bought the house over eighteen months ago, after which they embarked on a massive renovation project, to transform the house into their dream home to raise their three adorable tots.
‘We’re down to the last few days now and we can’t wait to get settled in,’ Rosanna said: before continuing: ‘It’s been a long and exhausting process, but it will be worth every minute.’
House-proud Rosanna has shared her renovation journey over the last few months, detailing the extensive renovations to her followers.
And her epic home transformation process didn’t disappoint, with Rosanna and husband Wesley each putting their own inimitable stamp on their first-ever home.
Rosanna previously told Extra.ie that Wes has been a total champ: surrendering his beloved man cave to Sophia, Hugo and Oscar so they could have their playroom.
Nope, there’s no mancave in this house,’ she laughed, before adding: ‘However, we have a shared office and a home cinema for Wesley to watch football matches with my dad.’
Now for dad-of-three Wesley, the new pad features a home cinema, with a passageway leading into what will be a private entertainment centre.
Rosanna recently shared a glimpse of the family cinema room, saying that it’s slowly but surely coming together saying: ‘Speaking of the cinema, it’s getting there slowly but making progress and we’re ready to plaster the walls,’ Rosanna wrote. ‘Got panelling done in this entrance hallway, which I’m delighted with and waiting on the delivery of the wall lights.
‘We’ve ordered a dark red carpet to match the cinema chairs and just have to source a velvet burgundy wallpaper now… so off I go to google wallpaper again,’ she added alongside a laughing emoji — before showing off a sample of what the family are looking for wall wise.
We’re aiming to create an art deco style cinema and saw this wallpaper back in March,’ she wrote. ‘Keep thinking about it so time to order a sample!’
The house also includes every little girl’s dream bedroom with Rosanna’s only daughter Sophia, preparing to move into her first little girls only room, which boasts a beautiful bay window and her very own en suite style dressing room.
