Speaking to Ireland's Classic Hits Trina Mara, comedian, author and broadcaster, Ruby Wax looked back on some of her most memorable encounters with major public figures, including Donald Trump and Bill Cosby, sharing insights from a time when celebrity interviews were often far less controlled than they are today.
Reflecting on her years in the spotlight, Wax acknowledged that many of the experiences she discusses happened during a very different era of show business, long before media coaching and PR training became commonplace.
The conversation also touched on one of the most important relationships in her life, her close friendship with the late Carrie Fisher.
Wax spoke warmly about the Star Wars icon, recalling the deep bond they formed and the lasting impact Fisher had on her life.
The comedian has announced that her Absolutely Famous tour has been extended into 2027, giving audiences even more opportunities to hear her candid stories from a remarkable career in entertainment.
