According to Hollywood magazine 'Deadline' "multiple sources" have confirmed that the Lady Bird actress will be starring alongside Paul Mescal, who is set to play Paul McCartney, in the Beatles biopics.
The biopics will be released in four parts and directed by Sam Mendes. Each film will follow the story of a different member of the band. Ronan is expected to feature prominiently in the film centred around McCartney, however it remains unknown how much she will feature in the other films. "Ronan is expected to feature prominently in the instalment centred on McCartney, though it's unknown to what extent she might appear in the other three," said Deadline.
The films are set to release in April 2028. Paul Mescal will be joined by Barry Keoghan playing Ringo Starr, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.
Linda McCartney was a well known photographer, musician, and animal rights activist. She launched her own range of frozen vegetarian food products in 1991. She married Paul McCartney in 1969 and passed away from cancer in 1998.
