Doireann Garrihy and Mark Mehigan have taken their daughter to a place very near and dear to their heart, as they celebrate Mark’s first birthday as a father.
Doireann and Mark welcomed baby Rosie into the world back in October, with the family enjoying their first holiday together as a family.
It was also a big milestone for Mark, as they celebrated his first birthday as a father, and to sweeten the trip, the couple brought Rosie to Copenhagen in Denmark — where the couple enjoyed their honeymoon.
Sharing their travel escapades on Instagram, Doireann posted a picturesque video of the canal in the Danish capital, writing: ‘Took Rosie to our honeymoon spot.’
The couple also shared a lovely selfie in the Danish capital, while Mark shared a series of lovely pics on his Instagram to commemorate his first birthday while celebrating fatherhood.
‘First birthday as a dad,’ Mark wrote. ‘Comfortably the best I’ve ever had,’ before adding in the comments: ‘How did I not think of Denmark Mehigan.’
The couple announced that they were expecting back in April, after they tied the knot last November, saying that it was a love ‘we’ve never known.’
The couple documented their journey to parenthood on social media, with Doireann departing the airwaves for the second time (albeit temporarily this time around) when she went on maternity leave from her drivetime slot on 2FM.
Sharing an adorable photo as a new mum and dad, Doireann and Mark cuddled up to their baby, with Doireann writing: ‘Our baby, Rosie. A love like this we’ve never known.’
