Leo Earley, a young Irish child who appeared on last year's Late Late Toy Show, has been cast in HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series.
The youngster, who wowed the audience on the night with his monologue about hats on the Christmas special, is to play Hogwarts student Seamus Finnigan in this upcoming series. Finnigan had been played by Devon Murray in the franchise starring Daniel Radcliffe, Ron Weasley, and Emma Watson.
This new HBO series, which takes place this Summer, will see John Lithgow play Professor Dumbledore, Janet McTeer star as Professor McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Professor Snape, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch. While Luke Thallon will portray Quirinus Quirrell.
The series will also see Lox Pratt play Draco Malfoy, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, while Bertie Carvel will play Cornelius Fudge.
