U2 guitarist, The Edge has become a grandad again after his daughter, Blue Angel welcomed the arrival of her third child.
Blue Angel, the youngest daughter of the musician, has welcomed the arrival of her daughter, Eden, with her husband Fiachra O'Shaughnessy. She confirmed the happy news on Instagram, where she revealed that her third child arrived "a few weeks ago".
"Two thirds of my heart right there… a few weeks ago we welcomed Luna and Senan’s little sister, Eden O’Shaughnessy. A huge thank you to my incredible doctors, Sean Daly and Vicky O’Dwyer, all of the wonderful midwives and everyone at the Rotunda Hospital", she wrote.
"We were looked after so well and shown so much compassion, once again, which we will never forget".

Blue Angel's news was met with several well wishes in the comments' section, including Irish actress Eve Hewson, daughter of The Edge's U2 bandmate, Bono, who wrote: "I love you all so much", while her brother Jordan added a series of love heart emojis.
This news comes four years after Blue Angel had announced the tragic death of their son, Senan, who died just nine days after birth, following a knot in his cord, causing him to suffer severe brain damage.
At the time, Blue Angel said Senan "passed away peacefully that same night, lying on my chest, warm and loved beyond measure" due to "unforeseen complications around the time of his birth".
"He was absolutely perfect in every way and all I want is for him to be back in my arms".
"He brought, and continues to bring, so much love into our lives and we will always, always miss him. Today is his eight month anniversary". she shared. "I have, what feels like, a primal urge to tell the whole world how beautiful and amazing our son was. He was big and strong, weighing eight pounds and measuring 20.5 inches long".
"He came two weeks early and we discovered that there was a true knot in his cord… he suffered severe damage to his brain as a result which meant that he wasn’t strong enough to live on his own", she added.
"After eight nights in the NICU we were brought to the LauraLynn Hospice for Children. Myself, Fiachra Luna and Senan got the incredible chance to be a family there. No wires, tubes or alarms".
Blue Angel also thanked the "angels" at LauraLynn Hospice and encouraged others in a similar situation to consider the foundation.
"I cannot express enough my gratitude for them and what they do and provide for families with children that have life-limiting conditions", she added at the time.
