Maura Higgins has given a stark warning to people at the roundtable, as the first look at her on The Traitors US is revealed.
The Longford reality star, who’s coming off her time in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity last year, will be trading the Bushtucker Trials for the roundtable as she and a bevy of other celebrities try to suss out who’s a traitor in the popular reality/game show.
With celebs including reality star Lisa Rinna, actor Michael Rappaport and drag queen Monét X Change, a line from each of the celebs involved was in the trailer clip — with Maura teasing that whoever accuses her of being a traitor at the roundtable has a big storm coming.
‘If someone comes for me at the roundtable, God love them,’ Maura teased to the cameras, while others teased that ‘the gloves are off,’ and RuPaul’s Drag Race icon Monét Xchange revealed they ‘came to be treacherous.’
Maura spoke about her time in the castle earlier this year, saying that she was ‘very glad’ she did it, although she admitted that she thought it would be easy as she’d previously done I’m A Celeb.
‘I had never watched a show, so I didn’t really understand the concept,’ Maura said. ‘Like, obviously I’d heard stuff before, but, yeah, it’s a unique one, I will say, and I’m very glad I’ve done it.’
Maura had to keep mum on what happens in the season, but teased: ‘I can’t say anything about it. It’s very hush hush. But I will say, it’s going to be a very, very, very good season.’
Maura also teased that she was heading to the roundtable, telling her followers as much when the show was announced.
The Traitors US will release on January 8 on Peacock in the states, and can be watched on the RTÉ Player on these shores.
