The new trailer for season five of Emily In Paris has dropped. You can check it out below.
The new series which began filming in May, will premiere on Netflix on December 18, featuring as many as ten episodes.
The trailer itself, shows Emily played by Lily Collins, appearing all loved up with new boyfriend, an Italian named Marcello, played by Eugenio Fraceschini.
Having departed Rome in the last series, Emily is living the dream as she moves east to the canal-filled city of Venice, where she really embraces life in Italy, having moved their with Marcello. However, the honeymoon period might not last, with cages set to be rattled as first look images from the new season show Emily's ex Gabriel making an appearance, played by Lucas Bravo.
"Now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city. But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks", a synopsis reads.
"Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities".
The first images for the new season were released, showing Emily and Marcello looking very much in love as they cruise through the countryside and arm and arm in the streets.
Other images show Mindy, Emily's best friend performing with some sexy gondoliers in Venice, with another image showing Emily chatting with her old boss, Sylvie.
While the exact plot for season five has not been confirmed, it would appear that we haven't heard the last of Emily's ex Gabriel, who plans to visit her in Italy to try and rekindle their romance. This may get complicated!
News of this comes as we learn that Camille Razat will not feature in season five, whose departure was confirmed back in April. Camille had previously been in a love triangle with Emily and Gabriel, and her storylines included faking a pregnancy.
