Westlife to tour America as they part ways with record label

The group will no longer be represented by EMI Records and say it was by "mutual consent due to a change in leadership and a breakdown of contractual negotiations".

Their last album "Spectrum" was a No.1 hit despite being the first album they'd released after an 8 year hiatus.  However they are recording new material and expect to have a new album ready for release by the end of the year and are planning a world tour.
