Dolly Parton To Host First Ever 'Pet Gala'

Dolly Parton has announced plans to host a 'pet gala', featuring dogs wearing some of her most famous outfits.

Parton will present her own special Dolly Parton's Pet Gala, a two hour variety special, including a runaway of "doggy talent", who will be donning some of the legendary singer's most iconic outfits.

Items will be worn from Parton's own pet range, 'Doggy Parton'. 

The show will also feature performances of Dolly's most renowned hits from many stars, including Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, , Chris Janson and KC of KC of the Sunshine Band. These stars will perform tunes such as 9 to 5, I Will Always Love You, and of course, Puppy Love.

“I love animals. I’ve got all kinds, and of course, I’ve always had little dogs around, and big ones! We’re going to have some of all kinds and colours on the show, and there is nothing more fun to me than when little animals do what they do best", Parton said. 

Dolly Parton will also be joined at the event by runaway correspondents Kelly Osbourne, and Rachel Smith. Other household names appearing at the show include Neil Patrick Harris, Kristen Bell, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Chenoweth, and Jessica Simpson. 

Dolly Parton's Pet Gala will air on CBS Network and Paramount+ on February 21.
