Justin Timberlake has teased new music for the first time in 6 years.

The Sexy Back singer shared a teaser for a new song called Selfish, which also included an Instagram Reel of him rehearsing at the Orpheum Theatre, in Memphis, Tennessee. Timberlake also played an intimate show at the same venue last Friday.

In a video, the singer can be heard telling the audience, "New music? Well, we didn't get dressed up for nothing did we? All right, let's do it. This is called Selfish".

This clip also shows Timberlake strolling across the venue, microphone in hand pre-show.

Following this performance, Timberlake posted another video, with the accompanying caption, "Justin Timberlake Presents: Everything I Thought It Was".

Rumours have been spreading that this is to be the title track for a new album from Timberlake, which would be his first new release in 6 years, since Man Of The Woods in February 2018.

This shows Timberlake staring into a sunset, as actor Benicio del Toro narrates:  "Ah there's Justin. Why won't he turn around. What the **** is he staring at?".

In 2023, Justin Timberlake released his first new song in two decades with NSync, called Better Place for the film Trolls Band Together.

As a solo artists, Justin Timberlake boasts four number one UK Chart singles, including SexyBack, Give It To Me (ft Timbaland & Nelly Furtado), 4 Minutes (with Madonna), and Mirrors.

He also has three UK number one albums, Justified (2002), FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006) and The 20/20 Experience (2013).
