A new documentary shining a light on the recent health struggles of singer Celine Dion is to be showcased on Amazon MGM.

The documentary titled I Am: Celine Dion will be available on Prime Video, and will focus on her recent health struggles, as opposed to her life and music career.

In 2022, Celine Dion was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called stiff-person syndrome

This documentary which is led by Emmy award winning director Irene Taylor (Heart of the County, Hear And Now), will cover the course of a year where Dion shows how she deals with her diagnosis.

Hoping to "help us who share this diagnosis" with this documentary, Celine Dion said in a statement, “This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me".

“As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have realized how much I have missed it, of being able to see my fans. During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life, to try to raise awareness of this little-known condition, to help others who share this diagnosis".

No release date has been confirmed for I Am: Celine Dion
