Met Éireann have said that cloudy and humid conditions are expected across the country today, with persistent outbreaks of rain have also been predicted for the west and northwest.
The rest of the country is to see isolated showers, with many areas remaining dry. Temperatures are to stay between 18 and 26 degrees.
Looking at tonight, rain and drizzle is expected to continue over the northwest of the country, with temperatures expected to stay below 12 to 17 degrees, with mist and fog a possibility as well.
Rain and drizzle outbreaks are also expected for Wednesday, which will gradually clear south eastwards throughout the day with sunshine, and isolated showers following from the west, with temperatures forecasted to hit highs of 20 degrees in the northwestern part of the country and 23 degrees in other areas, with light to moderate southwest to west winds.
Sunny spells and scattered showers are also predicted for Thursday morning, with the rain expected for the northwest of the country.
Warmer and more settled conditions are expected in the southeast of the country.
As for Thursday night, dry and clear weather is expected, with scattered showers set to continue in the west and northwest.
