A National Day of Mourning is around the corner as we prepare ourselves for the finale of The Traitors Ireland S2.
After the success of S1, S2 quickly became a fan favourite once more after the first episode aired on Sunday, August 30. For the last three weeks, we've been on the edge of our seats, captivated by the suspicion, strategy, and deception of it all.
The Irish version is still being beautifully helmed by Derry Girls' Siobhán McSweeney, who, if we're honest, outshines Claudia Winkleman (especially in the outfit department).

The show sees 23 strangers play the ultimate game of deception, betrayal, and trust in the hope of winning up to €50k.
The Traitors, which is shot on the banks of the Boyne in Slane Castle, has stayed true to its promise to keep us entertained with a fun combination of chaos, suspicion, strategy, and sabotage.
But alas, all good things must come to an end, as they say...

RTÉ has confirmed the finale of The Traitors Ireland S2 will air at 9.30pm on Tuesday, September 22 — meaning we have just one week, comprising three episodes, left to sink our teeth into.
WARNING: Spoilers ahead!
Thus far, we've seen eight players banished from the walls of Slane Castle, four of whom have been Traitors. Additionally, seven players have been murdered by order of the Traitors.

After an unfortunate injury saw Gráinne hobble out of the castle. Now, just seven players remain, battling it out for the cash prize at the end.
As it stands, Carla and Pauric O are the remaining Traitors in the game, and they're doing one hell of a job at absolving themselves of all suspicion.
There's something in the air, and Siobhán has a few more tricks up her sleeve before we bid farewell to this group altogether, but we're going to have to wait until Sunday to find out what they are...
