The new trailer for season two of spy thriller, Black Doves, has arrived. You can check out below.
The new season will once again see Keira Knightly, Ben Whishaw and Sarah Lancashire star.
Season one saw Knightly play quick-witted and humble wife - and professional spy Helen Webb, who spent 10 years passing on the secrets of her politician husband's to a shady organisation she has been working for, aka The Black Doves.
Following the assassination of her secret lover, Jason played by Andrew Koji, Helen Webb's spymaster Reed, played by Sarah Lancashire, calls in Webb's old pal, Sam to keep her safe. Sam is played by Ben Whishaw.
Season two will see Helen nefariously pass on her nation's secrets to The Black Doves, and with her husband set to become British Prime Minister, coupled with the misadventures of last Christmas, that treacherous line continues to get thinner and thinner.
Reed soon becomes embroiled in a plot to undermine Helen's position in The Black Doves, which sees Helen reunited with Sam. In their search for answers, loyalty and trust is severely tested as the fight to protect the people they love sees them put everything on the line.
The series is once again written by executive producer, Joe Barton, with production company, SISTER Pictures and Noisy Bear, with Callum Devrell-Cameron serving as executive producer.

Netflix had previously announced that Black Doves would return for season two back in December 2024, sharing this video on social media, which included the caption: "Black Doves Season 2 is coming, darlings.
In the video, Keira Knightly greets Whishaw with "Merry Christmas", which see her reply "Hello darling", before kissing her on the cheek.
