A fire broke out at Conor McGregor's pub in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí say they are investigating a case of criminal damage following the blaze, which occurred at the front of The Black Forge Inn on the Drimnagh Road at approximately 3 a.m. No injuries were reported, and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination. Investigations are ongoing.
The 37-year-old retired MMA star, who is originally from Drimnagh in Dublin, bought The Black Forge Inn for around €2 million in 2020. He reportedly spent a further €1 million renovating it before reopening the pub the following year.
This is not the first time the venue has been targeted. In 2022, the pub was the subject of a suspected petrol bomb attack just hours after the former UFC world champion had visited. However, the device failed to ignite.
