Barry Manilow has shared his latest update amid the "agony" of being treated for lung cancer.
This comes after the music legend was forced to postpone his farewell tour after being diagnosed with cancer. He had revealed last year that a cancerous spot was found on his lung last year, which was subsequently removed through surgery.
Following this, Manilow confirmed that he had called off his shows at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on medical advice. The singer was told to prioritise additional rest time following surgery, after they said: "Barry, you won't be ready to do a 90-minute show. Your lungs aren't ready yet. You're in great shape considering what you've been through, but your body isn't ready".
The spot was found on his lung after they checked him out for bronchitis.
"The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed," Manilow said at the time. "It's pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early".

Now, Barry Manilow has shared a video message for his fans on social media, where he called his break from work as "agony", before adding that he had "no patience" as he waited to complete his treatment.
"It's been a long ride and since I have no patience, it's been agony," Manilow said. "But I am getting stronger. And I have great doctors and wonderful friends and family, but I am so looking forward to getting back on stage".

Earlier this week, Barry Manilow also offered a teaser of his new album, What A Time.
"What a time it's been," he said. "Hey, that's the name of my new album! It's called What a Time. It comes out real soon and I can't wait to show these songs to you".
