Bono's eldest daughter, Jordan Hewson has shared her debut single.

Jordan, whose father is the U2 lead singer, has shared this new single, Don't Kill The Vibe, under her stage name Jordan Joy. She hopes this song captures "indie New York", adding that she also plans to release more music.

"Excited to share this song . . . Don't Kill the Vibe is one for the kitchen party. I wanted the sound to bring me back to indie New York, and what I was listening to when I lived there", Hewson wrote on Instagram. "Thank you @cjmarks and @daywave for working on it with me, and to my friends for encouraging me to put it out 🤍 Photo by my sis @graciebrns! More to come".

The track has been met with worldwide acclaim from several household names, including R.E.M's Michael Stipe, who has described it as "the song of the summer". It has also been praised by models Helena Christiensen, Christy Turlington, actress Jessica Alba, as well as Julian Lennon, son of the late Beatles icon John Lennon.

Prior to this, Jordan Hewson had release three songs as Tenderhooks. In 2024, she released Anything You Felt, and Summer Driving Fast/Summer Driving Fast (Sunrise Remix), and Enemy in 2023.
