The highly anticipated festival, which returns to Worthy Farm from the 23rd to the 27th of June 2027 following a year out in 2026, continues to attract huge demand.

Organisers confirmed that all general admission tickets had sold out shortly after 9:40am, while the coach ticket packages released earlier in the week disappeared in under 30 minutes.

This year's event marks the first time ticket prices have exceeded the £400 mark, with general admission costing £408, including booking fees. The price represents an increase on the festival's previous edition in 2025, going up by £29.50, continuing a trend of rising costs in recent years.

Fans were required to pay an initial deposit to secure their place, with the remaining balance due in spring 2027. As in previous years, tickets remain non-transferable, a measure designed to deter touting and unofficial resale.

Demand for tickets was expected to be exceptionally high, partly because the festival took a break in 2026 to allow the site to recover. The return of the iconic event, combined with its limited capacity, helped drive another rapid sell-out despite the record-breaking ticket prices.

The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, took to the main stage in 2025, and fans are already speculating 2027 headliners.

Hopeful festival goers want to see acts such as Harry Styles, Robbie Williams, Fontaines DC and Sabrina Carpenter. Event organisers Eavis have already shut down rumors of performances from Madonna and Oasis,  and are yet to hint at when the line up will be released.

Anyone who didn’t manage to get tickets will have another chance when the Glastonbury Resale takes place in April.
