Louis Tomlinson is hitting the road once again, and this time, he’s doing it on a truly global scale. The former One Direction star has announced his How Did We Get Here? world arena tour for 2026, a massive run that will see him return to Europe and North America next spring, including a headline date at Dublin’s 3Arena on Thursday, 30 April.
The news arrives hot on the heels of Tomlinson’s brand-new single Lemonade. It’s the first taste of his upcoming studio album How Did I Get Here, due for release ahead of the tour, and fans eager to secure tickets early can gain presale access by preordering the album through his official website before 12 noon on Tuesday, 7 October.
Presale kicks off at 9am on Wednesday, 8 October, with general sale following at 9am on Friday, 10 October.
The European leg opens in Hamburg’s Barclays Arena on 23 March, followed by a month-long run across the continent. Stops include Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin, Milan, Barcelona and Paris before heading to the UK and Ireland for a string of arena shows. Fans in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds will all have their chance to see Tomlinson live, before the tour arrives in Dublin and wraps up with a finale at London’s O2 Arena on 3 May.
It’s the latest milestone in a solo career that’s seen Tomlinson continue to evolve as a songwriter and performer. Since launching his solo journey, he’s built a loyal following on his own terms, with previous albums like Walls and Faith in the Future showcasing his distinct blend of Britpop and heartfelt indie-rock influences.
This new era, marked by Lemonade and the ambitious How Did We Get Here? project, looks set to push that evolution even further. And judging by the early buzz surrounding the single, and the scale of the venues he’s booked, demand is expected to be fierce.
Tomlinson’s previous tours have earned rave reviews for their emotional honesty, stripped-back staging and fan-first ethos. With the new album promising another leap forward, How Did We Get Here? could be his most personal and polished live experience yet.
For fans who’ve followed Tomlinson’s journey from stadium-filling boyband phenomenon to confident solo artist, this tour represents both a celebration of how far he’s come and a glimpse of what’s still to come.
