Shania Twain has announced a brand new album, Little Miss Twain, alongside the release of its lead single Dirty Rosie.
The country-pop icon confirmed that the album — her seventh studio record — will be released on July 24 via Republic Nashville, marking what she describes as one of the most personal projects of her career.
The announcement also comes with a major live return for Twain, who is set to join Harry Styles for a sold-out 12-night run at Wembley Stadium in London before heading to Ireland for a headline show at Thomond Park in Limerick.
Twain described the upcoming album as deeply rooted in her early life and musical influences.
“A lot of Little Miss Twain is reflective of my teens, my roots as well as the energy of the rock and R&B I loved so much, but still with that Western twang,” she said.
“Where I’m from you don’t go anywhere on a horse — you go on a snowmobile. I was dreaming about the Western lifestyle and I was living in a very different world than where I ended up.”

The newly released single Dirty Rosie offers the first taste of the record, which is said to blend country, pop, rock, soul and bluegrass influences while reflecting on the formative experiences that shaped Twain’s life and career.
The album marks another major chapter for the singer, who remains the best-selling female country-pop artist of all time, with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide.
Twain famously reshaped country music during the 1990s by helping push the genre into mainstream pop culture, paving the way for crossover country acts that followed.
She also made history as the first artist ever to release three consecutive Diamond-certified albums.
According to Twain, Little Miss Twain differs from her previous records because of how introspective and self-referential it is.
The singer returned to music in 2017 with Now, ending a 15-year break from releasing studio albums.
She later followed it with 2023’s Queen Of Me, alongside a hugely successful world tour that ranked among the highest-grossing country tours of the year.
In recent years, Twain has also headlined multiple sold-out Las Vegas residencies while continuing to maintain her status as one of the defining crossover stars in modern music.
The title of the new album references her childhood years performing in bars from a young age, but Twain says the record ultimately reflects an artist still evolving decades into her career.
The announcement is likely to generate significant excitement among Irish fans ahead of her upcoming headline performance at Thomond Park, which marks one of her biggest Irish shows in years.
