Spice Girls fans hoping for a full reunion have had their hopes dashed after the group revealed what was behind their mysterious announcement.
Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner and Victoria Beckham are marking 30 years since the release of their debut single Wannabe with a special new collection.
The Singles Collection will bring together all of the group's singles and B-sides in a collector's edition CD box set.
The box set will also feature previously unheard recordings, as well as four demos which have never been released before.

Each of the five members has also prepared a special anniversary message which will be included in the collection.
It is due to go on sale in November.
The announcement comes after the Spice Girls sent fans into a frenzy earlier this week with a cryptic social media post.
The group shared a short video featuring imagery connected to their history, along with the date and time of their upcoming announcement.
The teaser also featured the opening notes of Wannabe, which was released in July 1996 and went on to become one of the biggest pop songs of the decade.
A fictional advertisement in the video described the Spice Girls as a "widely successful, global, choreographed, singing/dancing, all female pop act", while another line referenced needing a vinyl or CD player.

That led many fans to predict that the announcement would involve a physical music release.
However, others had hoped the clues could point to something much bigger, including a reunion tour.
The five members have all spoken positively about celebrating the group's 30th anniversary over the past year, keeping speculation about a possible reunion alive.
The Spice Girls last performed together in 2012, when they reunited for the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.
They later reunited as a four-piece for a UK and Ireland tour in 2019, with Victoria Beckham choosing not to take part.
There have been no confirmed plans for another full reunion tour.
For now, fans will get the chance to hear some previously unreleased Spice Girls material, with The Singles Collection set to arrive in November.
The group remain one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, with hits including Wannabe, Spice Up Your Life, Say You'll Be There and Viva Forever.
