A woman who was charged with assaulting and stalking Lindsey Buckingham has been arrested in Indiana.
Michelle Dick, the woman arrested for the offences, was taken into custody in Allen County over the weekend, and is currently awaiting extradition to Los Angeles County. She has been charged with seven criminal counts, having allegedly thrown an unidentified substance at Buckingham in Santa Monica on March 25.
Such charges include assault, threats with a deadly weapon involving a motor vehicle, as well as vandalising Buckingham's car.
This happened as former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham was walking into a building for an appointment when the incident took place. It was reported that Michelle Dick, who was previously told to stay at least 100 yards from the musician, had discovered the time and location of this appointment and was waiting for Buckingham on arrival.
Buckingham had previously told the courts that he had been subjected to years.
In a felony complaint filed to the courts on April 6, it was claimed that Dick had stalked Lindsey Buckingham between 2021 and March this year. Michelle Dick, had reportedly claimed that she was the musician's long lost daughter.
Previously, Buckingham told the courts that Dick had parked her car outside one of the homes which he shares with his wife in 2024.
"She began rambling about me being her father and suffocating her as a child", Buckingham claimed. "This incident terrified my wife as she feared for her safety. Given that Ms Dick also knows my home address, I am terrified as well".
On this, Michelle Dick had told a local station, KTLA: "One time, that was last year. But I didn't know I had a restraining order on me. He wasn't a father to me, but he's my birth father".
According to prosecutors, Michelle Dick also stalked another victim, who was identified as Stephanie N, placing her in reasonable fear for her safety.
Incidentally, Lindsey Buckingham's former Fleetwood Mac bandmate and partner, Stevie Nicks' real name is Stephanie Lynn. But it remains unknown if she was the second victim of Michelle Dick's campaign.
Speaking of Fleetwood Mac, Buckingham's former bandmate Mick Fleetwood got married for the fifth time. He shared a number of photos from his honeymoon with new bride Elizabeth last week.
