The 25-year-old has reportedly covered up the word “Dad”, which was previously part of an anchor tattoo on his right arm. The tribute has now been replaced with three small, nondescript shapes, following what is understood to be laser treatment. The change was spotted when Brooklyn was photographed out in Los Angeles with his wife, Nicola Peltz, prompting renewed attention on the state of his relationship with his parents.
A source claimed: “Brooklyn’s had laser treatment on the writing. He wanted it gone.” While neither Brooklyn nor David has commented publicly on the decision, the removal has been interpreted by some as symbolic, given recent reports of strain between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family.
Brooklyn has dozens of tattoos, many of them deeply personal. Over the years, he has inked tributes to both his parents and siblings, as well as multiple designs dedicated to Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022. David Beckham has previously spoken proudly about Brooklyn’s tattoos, even revealing that some were inspired by his own extensive body art.
However, speculation about a growing rift has followed the couple in recent years, particularly around Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola, which was widely reported to have caused tension between Nicola and Victoria Beckham. While the family has repeatedly attempted to shut down feud rumours, their interactions — or lack thereof — on social media have continued to draw scrutiny.
The removal of a tattoo explicitly referencing “Dad” has therefore struck a nerve with fans, especially given David Beckham’s carefully cultivated image as a devoted family man. The former footballer has often spoken about the importance of family unity, frequently sharing tributes to his children online and marking milestones in their lives.
Tattoo removals are, of course, not uncommon, and can be motivated by aesthetic choices rather than emotional ones. Laser removal is a lengthy process, suggesting the decision may have been made some time ago. Still, the timing of the visible cover-up has inevitably invited interpretation, particularly as Brooklyn continues to build his life in the US with Nicola, largely away from his family’s London base.
Brooklyn, who has pursued careers in photography, cooking and modelling, has spoken in the past about wanting to carve out his own identity separate from his famous surname. Relocating to Los Angeles and aligning closely with Nicola’s Hollywood world has only reinforced that sense of independence.
Beckham's Former Assistant Speaks Out On 'What I Said 22 Years Ago'
Rebecca Loos, the former personal assistant to David Beckham, has spoken out once again about the long-running controversy surrounding the Beckham family, claiming that Brooklyn Beckham’s recent bombshell statement has vindicated “what I said 22 years ago.”
Loos appears in a new Channel 5 documentary, The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies, which airs on Sunday and examines the growing rift within one of the world’s most famous families. Her comments follow a dramatic public statement from Brooklyn Beckham, in which he confirmed he has severed ties with his parents and has no intention of reconciling with them.
Brooklyn’s six-page statement, released last week, sent shockwaves through celebrity circles, with the eldest Beckham child accusing his parents of being “controlling and manipulative” and prioritising “brand Beckham” over authentic family relationships. The statement marked the most explicit and definitive break yet between Brooklyn and his family, following years of reported tension since his marriage to Nicola Peltz in 2022.
Loos, who worked as David Beckham’s PA during his time at Real Madrid, is best known for previously alleging that she had an affair with the former England captain in 2004, claims which Beckham has consistently and strongly denied. At the time, the allegations dominated headlines worldwide and were widely viewed as one of the biggest celebrity scandals of the early 2000s.
Reflecting on Brooklyn’s recent words, Loos draws a direct comparison to her own experience more than two decades ago. She said: “Suddenly you're part of a big PR war. In a very small way, this is of course validation for what I said and came forward and said 22 years ago.”
She continued: “Brooklyn is basically confirming inauthentic relationships, value of promotion, endorsements above all else, and that it's all focused on brand Beckham, and that that's all that matters.”
The documentary also revisits one of the most talked-about moments from Brooklyn and Nicola’s lavish Florida wedding in 2022. The incident involved Victoria Beckham and singer Marc Anthony, who performed at the reception and reportedly referred to the designer as “the most beautiful person in the room” before a dance that later became a source of controversy.
Addressing Brooklyn’s claim that his mother “hijacked” the couple’s first dance, Loos said: “Whether it came from her or whether it was Marc Anthony is beside the point because it shows a lack of awareness for other people's feelings.”
She added: “I think any other mother would've read the room and understood this is awkward and probably said, thank you for the compliment, but the most beautiful woman in the room is Nicola, Nicola, please take this dance.”
Loos went on to suggest that even if emotions or alcohol were involved, the situation could have been defused, saying: “Or at least if the mother had had a few too many glasses of wine and was unable to read the room, maybe the husband or the father would then have maybe stepped in and maybe grabbed Nicola, twirled her around and then swap partners to let her have the dance.”
As the documentary airs, it adds further fuel to an already intense public debate around family loyalty, image control and the pressures of growing up within a global celebrity brand. While the Beckhams have not responded publicly to Loos’ latest remarks, the fallout from Brooklyn’s statement continues to reverberate well beyond the family itself.
The DJ who played at Brooklyn Beckham’s lavish wedding has weighed in on the viral claims that Victoria Beckham “hijacked” her son’s first dance — and he appears to be firmly backing Brooklyn’s version of events.
The moment first exploded online after Brooklyn Beckham made a candid — and unexpectedly meme-worthy — comment during a recent interview, suggesting that his mother Victoria Beckham joined him on the dancefloor during his first dance and behaved in a way he described as “inappropriate”. The remark immediately set social media alight, with users joking that the former Spice Girl had slipped into full pop-star mode at her son’s expense.
@mrcodydahler It’s been a busy morning at the Beckham’s with Brooklyn’s bombshell stories outing them as a bunch of og controlling psychos. Lucky for Victoria and David Beckham though they got the best PR in the biz #beckham #brooklynbeckham #davidbeckham #pr #comedy ♬ Event Horizon (STEM percussion) - Altitude Music / BMGPM
Now, the story has taken another turn after Fat Tony, the celebrity DJ who played at Brooklyn’s star-studded wedding to Nicola Peltz in Palm Beach, Florida, broke his silence. Tony — a long-time fixture on the fashion and celebrity circuit — appeared to confirm Brooklyn’s account in a tongue-in-cheek Instagram post.
Sharing a clip of Lucy Punch’s character Amanda dancing wildly in the BBC sitcom Motherland, set to Drank & Drugs by Lil’ Kleine and Ronnie Flex, Tony captioned the video: “POV: Victoria Beckham during Brooklyn’s first dance.” He added cheekily: “Actual video footage. It’s true. I was there!”
@amyjosimpson Guys I’VE FOUND IT 😱!!!!!! Video later 👀 #brooklynbeckham #victoriabeckham #fyp ♬ original sound - Meme page
The post quickly gained traction, with fans interpreting it as confirmation that Victoria’s dancefloor enthusiasm may indeed have stolen the spotlight. While clearly intended as humour, Tony’s comments poured fuel on an already viral situation — particularly as memes comparing Victoria to over-enthusiastic wedding guests continued to circulate.
Adding further intrigue, Tony’s partner Stavros Agapiou also appeared to back up Brooklyn’s claims. Taking to Instagram earlier this week, he wrote: “I was there and she did. He’s telling the truth. Good on him for finally speaking out!” The post was later deleted, but not before screenshots made the rounds online.
The original wedding, which took place in April 2022, was a high-profile affair attended by A-list guests from fashion, music and film, with the Beckham family firmly in the spotlight. While the event itself was widely praised as glamorous and meticulously planned, it’s only now — years later — that behind-the-scenes anecdotes are emerging.
For many fans, the episode has been treated less as scandal and more as light-hearted family drama, with Victoria’s pop-star past and high-energy persona playing into the joke. Online reaction has largely framed the situation as a classic case of a mum stealing the show — intentionally or otherwise.
@itsjustrob Why would she did that though?🤣 #victoriabeckham #brooklynbeckham #wedding ♬ origineel geluid - BackinTime✨
So far, Victoria Beckham herself has not publicly responded to the claims or the DJ’s posts. Whether she chooses to address the memes remains to be seen, but for now, the internet appears more amused than outraged — and the dancefloor debate shows no sign of slowing down.
Brooklyn Beckham Criticises His Parents And Accuses Them Of Trying To 'Ruin' His Marriage
Brooklyn Beckham breaks silence on the alleged Beckham family rift saying he doesn't want to reconcile with his "controlling" and "performative" parents.
The 26 year old took to Instagram to reveal his truth and offered his explanation for the alleged rift with parents David and Victoria Beckham. He wrote: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private," he then continued to state that he does not want to "reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life."
The eldest of the couple's four children accused them for trying to "ruin" his relationship with his wife Nicola Peltz. The pair were married in 2022, and he revealed that David and Victoria were attempting to spoil his relationship before they were set to marry. He disclosed that Victoria had cancelled his wife to be's dress- "in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress."

Brooklyn continued to explain that tensions had risen on the day of his wedding as he was called "evil" due to his decision to include his 'Nanny Sandra, and Nicola's Naunni' at their table, along with Victoria hijacking his first dance, he said: "In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
He later revealed in his post that his wife, Nicola, has been "consistently disrespected by my family" no matter how hard they try to come together, "my mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable." Along with David only agreeing to meet with him if Nicola was not there, "when he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn't invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all."
Brooklyn exposed his family in this post by accusing them of valuing "public promotion and endorsements above all else," and that the "Brand Beckham comes first." He confirmed that since he has started to stick up for himself, he has received "endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders."
It is not just his parents that Brooklyn seems to be feuding with as he revealed that even his "brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer."
It was recently revealed that Brooklyn asked his parents to only contact him through his lawyers following a heated family feud last Summer, according to reports. Read more on Classic Hits here.

Brooklyn Beckham Reportedly Warned Parents To Only Contact Him Through Lawyers
Brooklyn Beckham told his parents to only contact him through his lawyers following a heated family feud last Summer, according to reports.
This comes amid rising tension between Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz and the Beckham family, with sources saying that legal teams representing both sides have exchanged letters, with Brooklyn asking that his parents refrain from making any public statements about him or his wife on social media.
Brooklyn Beckham had reportedly blocked his parents and siblings Romeo and Cruz on social media, having previously accused them of conducting what he called "nasty" briefings about Nicola on social media, including claims that he was "controlled" by her.
His decision to block his family members on social media comes after the Beckhams had been liking and engaging with his posts, which he and Nicola found upsetting.
These tensions are said to be traced back to Brooklyn's wedding to Nicola's wedding in 2022, where Victoria's promise to design Nicola's wedding dress was not fulfilled. To add further fuel to the fire, singer Marc Anthony called Victoria "the most beautiful woman in the room" at the wedding, which did not sit well with Nicola.
The young couple were also a no-show at David's 50th birthday celebrations, and also did not publicly graduate him on his recent Knighthood.
Sources have said that the pair are waiting for a proper apology from the Beckhams in order to move forward, with David and Victoria keen to mend fences and rebuild their relationship with Brooklyn.
However, there appears to be at least one member of the Beckham family who Brooklyn has not fallen out with, his younger sister Harper.
This comes after Brooklyn wished Harper a happy 14th birthday back in July, sharing a photo of himself, Nicola and Harper, with the message: "Happy birthday Harper, we love u x".
"Brooklyn and Harper were always incredibly close," a source told The Sun prior to Brooklyn's social media post. "He adores her and so does his wife Nicola. They had an incredibly close bond and despite everything that has gone on, Brooklyn idolises her".
"He could end this nonsense by reaching out to Harper, both privately and publicly, and many believe he will do this today". More on this here.
