Irish actors Colin Farrell, Sharon Horgan and Ruth Negga have all received Emmy Award nominations.
Colin Farrell received his Emmy nod for the Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category thanks to his performance in The Penguin. He was nominated alongside Stephen Graham (Adolescence), Brian Tyree Henry (Dope Thief), Jake Gyllenhaal (Presumed Innocent), and Cooper Koch (Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story).
Elsewhere, Sharon Horgan was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Bad Sisters. Horgan will be up against Matlock star Kathy Bates, Bella Ramsey (The Last Of Us), Severence's Britt Lower, and Keri Russell from The Diplomat.
Along with Jake Gyllenhaal, Presumed Innocent have also earned an Emmy nod in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category thanks to Ruth Negga, who was nominated alongside Erin Doherty (Adolescene), Deirdre O'Connell (The Penguin), Chloë Sevigny (Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story), Jenny Slate (Dying For Sex) and Christine Tremarco (Adolescence).
Overall, Severance received the most Emmy nominations with 27 nods, with The Penguin in second place with 24 nominations. While The Studio and The White Lotus have received 23 nods each. The Last Of Us received 16 nominations, while Hacks and Andor earned 14 each.
