David Harbour has reflected on the past "mistakes" he made amid his divorce from ex wife, Lily Allen.
Earlier this year, Harbour and Allen announced that they had separated after four years of marriage after he was accused of being unfaithful. The pair had tied the knot at an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas in September 2020. More here.
Last month, the former couple put their New York home up on the market for $8 million.
Now, Harbour has addressed if he would changed "everything or nothing" about his life so far in a recent interview, where he touched upon the collapse of his marriage to Lily Allen.
"You either accept your path completely and realise that even the pain and the slip-ups and the mistakes are all part of the journey, and that there's truth and growth, wisdom and deeper empathy and connection in all that", he said.
Harbour explained that changing one thing in your life would also have a knock on effect elsewhere. He also added that making mistakes is part of growing up to make better decisions in the future.
"If you've never been through anything, what do you really have to offer? If I were to change anything I'd change everything, and just make my life happy and silly and like, whatever, and then I wouldn't be an artist anymore. And that would suck", he said.
While predicting that the next 50 years of his life would be "full of stories that are complex and rich", Harbour who is 50 years old, has revealed that he is open to finding love again following his divorce.
"That's really going to be the focus for me. Then, of course, there's personal stuff that I want to do, and people that I want to love, and be good to and nurture, things like that", he said.
Last month, Lily Allen released her first album in seven years with 'West End Girl', which she said was inspired by her “deep-rooted issues with rejection and abandonment” following her divorce from Harbour. More on this story here.
Allen has also announced a new UK tour, which will begin next year. More on this here.
