During his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live, Harry Styles made a joke about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
This comes after the As It Was singer returned to the US talkshow as a guest host for the second time.
In his segment, Styles spoke about how dull his has become during his recent hiatus from music following his Love On Tour, having kept a low profile, joking that he is "tremendously boring".
"I took up jogging. There's nothing interesting about that", Styles said. "But because I’m me, people pretend to find that interesting. I don’t run to be interesting. I do it for the feeling it gives me, that runner’s high. It’s just amazing".
He continued: "Watermelon sugar high, runner’s high. And if that doesn’t do it for you, I also love ecstasy".
"As a British man who spent a lot of his life in the public eye, I can assure you, there’s something nice about being boring. It’s better than the alternative".
At this point, an image of disgraced Royal, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor appeared in the back of a police car, following his arrest last month, appeared on screen last month.
Elsewhere, Harry Styles also took aim at those who accused him of "queer baiting", as well as his use of fruit as a metaphor for sex in his song lyrics.
"I realised I’d spent half my life in music - touring, playing albums, and making songs about fruit that people think are about sex", he said.
"I just really like fruit, guys. I like sex, too", he added. "People seemed to pay a lot of attention to the clothes I was wearing, and some people accused me of something called queer-baiting.
"But did it ever occur to you that… maybe you don’t know everything about me, Dad?".
This comes as Harry Styles released his latest album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, which will be supported at his 'Together Together' tour, where he will play live in London, New York, Amsterdam, São Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne and Sydney, as well as six nights at Wembley Stadium.
Due to phenomenal demand, Styles added two extra shows at Wembley Stadium on June 26 and 27. More on this story here.
