Sabrina Carpenter hurt herself while falling on a cactus during filming for the music video for her track, 'Manchild'.
The video, which you can check out below, has been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Music Video at next year's ceremony, saw the singer go through 37 outfit changes, making a win at the ceremony all the more worthwhile. It is also up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
"I fell on a cactus", the Expresso singer revealed. "It's so easy to laugh when people get hurt. And I did. But then I started crying".
She continued: "There was a medic. I just for the rest of the day was picking s*** out of...".
"I'll be honest, that shoot was so ambitious. We shot 37 outfits", she added. "That was probably my biggest shoot I've ever done. I'm so grateful to be able to make that production of my dreams. But it was definitely... We endured a lot of pain to get the finished product".
Carpenter also said of the video's reaction: "I really like that because I think — I make pop music and sometimes you don't expect to see those visuals in a song like that. So that one means a lot to me. I'm very excited that everyone has liked the video".
Back in November, Sabrina Carpenter finished off her 'Short N' Sweet' tour by "arresting Miss Piggy" and meeting Paul McCartney. More on this story here.
