Sarah Ferguson looks set to move into her daughter's refurbished granny flat ahead of her impending eviction from the Royal Lodge at Windsor Park.
Ferguson, the ex wife of Prince Andrew, has reportedly had the granny flat completely renovated, located at her £3.5 million Cotswolds estate. Having once been a cattle shed, the house was later converted into accommodation by previous owners.
The home which was bought by Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2021, was gutted and refitted with new doors and windows.
"The granny annexe seems to be ready to move into now,' says my source. 'It'd be perfect for Fergie, wouldn't it? The stonework has all been repointed, the gutters renovated, and the woodwork nicely painted. It has its own entrance", a neighbour told the MailOnline.
"Just today, the road was blocked for a delivery of propane gas bottles for the annexe. That coincided with the first cold snap of winter".
This has all been necessary after Fergie's ex husband Prince Andrew was formally stripped of his royal titles, and received an eviction notice from the former couple's home in Windsor Park, where they had been living together.
The disgraced royal is set to move into a property on the royal family's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. It has also been reported that Andrew is to receive a six figure payout, as well as an annual payment as part of his "relocation settlement".
The one off payment is to cover his move from Windsor to Sandringham, as well as his regular payment, funded by King Charles III, is to prevent him from "overspending in his new life as a commoner", according to The Guardian.
This regular payment is reportedly worth several times Andrew's £20,000 a year navy pension.
