The singer has also become the highest grossing Black artist and R&B artist of all time according to Live Nation. Beyoncé has made history as she is the first woman and American act to have two tours earn over $400 million.
The 'Cowboy Carter' tour has provided a great amount of success for the singer, the demand for tickets allowed her to add extra dates onto her tour. She extended the show to four nights in Atlanta, five in Los Angeles, and six nights in London. The 'Cowboy Carter' tour succss was rare, as she played multiple nights in the same stadium during the one run of the tour. The singer was able to sell more tickets and therefore push higher grosses.
The Cowboy Carter tour was the shortest tour in history to cross the $400 million threshold. Second to Cowboy Carter was Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour, with 56 dates and nearly double the number of shows. The Rollings Stones came in second place with 58 dates and Metallica’s ongoing M72 World Tour with 60 dates.
Last Saturday fans saw Beyoncé finish off the 'Cowboy Carter' tour with special appearances from Destiny's Child, as they performed their iconic songs Bootylicious and Lose My Breath. This tour has also seen guest performances from her husband Jay Z.

Throughout her tour she has shown respect to Black American contributions to country music, particularly those who feature on her most recent album. Beyoncé has been outspoken about her not feeling welcomed in the country music genre. Beyoncé spoke about when she first released 'Daddy Lessons', a country song which appeared on her album Lemonde, "This album has been over five years in the making," she wrote. "It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t," she said at the time. Her performance at the Country Music Association Awards in 2016 recieved notable backlash, including racist comments on social media.
Beyoncé had already been all over the box score record books heading into 2025, however her recent performance expands her footprint. The Cowboy Carter tour has 32 sold out stadium shows across North America, the UK and Europe.
