As the sun sets on a mammoth two nights of Oasis' sold out shows in Dublin, attention quickly turns to the Kingdom of Kerry as the countdown begins to this evening's Rose of Tralee.
Hosted by Dáithí O'Sé and Kathryn Thomas, the festival will once again be shown on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, which will see 32 Roses take to the Tralee stage across two nights, Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 August at 8pm.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival has been a long term staple in celebrating Irish culture, bringing people together from across the country and worldwide, as they celebrate Irish identity, heritage and ambition.
Speaking ahead of the festivities, co host Kathryn Thomas has said that she gets a "huge energy" from the class of 2025.
"They are so giving and they're so full of stories about where they come from, their Irishness, their excitement for the Rose of Tralee," she said of the Roses.
"There's brilliant stories, so many different careers, so many different dreams, so many different goals they want to achieve, so many different perspectives on what is happening in the world politically, so, you're energised".
The Roses will be introduced to the stage by radio presenter and Master of Ceremonies Carl Mullan, with James Patrice returning as official Rose Reporter.
Last week, it was also announced that Ryan Tubridy's fiancée Clare Kambamettu will work as a judge for this year's festival. More on this here.
The Rose of Tralee will take place tonight and tomorrow at 8pm on RTÉ television, and RTÉ Player.
