Ariana Grande has hinted that her upcoming 2026 Eternal Sunshine tour could be her final major concert run — at least for now. Speaking on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, she said, “I’m going to do a small stint of shows next year, because that is something that sounded authentically good to me.” She added, “I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time… One last hurrah. For now.”
She reflected on how her pop career has dominated much of her life, saying, “My pop career sort of took over my life … I feel very privileged and grateful to learn that there can be room for different creative endeavours… The last 10 or 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up.” She clarified that she isn’t making any permanent declarations, but feels deeply committed to giving this tour “my all.”
The Eternal Sunshine tour will run in summer 2026, with dates across the United States between June and August, followed by a ten-show residency at the O2 in London in August and September. It marks her return to touring after her last headlining run in 2019.
Grande has spoken before about turning more of her attention to other creative outlets, including acting, musical theatre, and comedy. On the podcast she admitted that she grew up loving musical theatre and comedy, and that now feels like a space she wants to explore more fully. She’s also working on several film projects, and says acting feels “like home” to her in this phase of her life.
Even so, she emphasised that music remains central to who she is. She recently addressed speculation that she was stepping away, noting that music has always been her lifeline, and that she intends to make space for “all of it” — touring, recording, acting — in the years ahead.
For fans, particularly in Ireland, this tour may be a rare chance to see Grande live on a large scale — and her framing of it as a “last hurrah” gives the run a deeper sense of urgency and emotional weight.
