Junior Andre, 21, and Princess Andre, 19, open up about their experiences in Louis Theroux's new project Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which premiered on Sky yesterday. The documentary explores the model and reality star’s life in the public eye.
Price, who first became famous as glamour model Jordan in the 1990s, has spent decades under intense media attention. She has previously spoken openly about her struggles with depression and mental health, particularly during difficult periods in 2018 and 2021.
In the documentary, her children reflect on the time following Price’s split from her third husband, Kieran Hayler, after his infidelity.

Junior said the breakdown of that relationship had a major impact on his mother and the family.
“When (Kieran Hayler) cheated on her the first time, that literally broke her.”
“That was probably the most difficult time of my life – of our lives – probably,” he said, referring to himself and his younger sister.

Princess recalled feeling confused and isolated during that period, saying she struggled to communicate with her mother while Price was dealing with her own difficulties.
“I felt like I didn’t know what was going on and I couldn’t talk to mum about it, because she wasn’t there.”
She also described feeling lonely and said a blanket sprayed with her mother’s perfume became a source of comfort.
“(Price) would give me a blanket and she sprayed all her perfume on it, and that was my attachment to mum.”
“I remember after school, I used to go home and just feel so lonely.”
“I used to just cuddle to the blanket and just cry.”

Junior said he eventually chose to live with his father, singer Peter Andre, during his teenage years because he felt his mother was unable to provide the stability he needed at the time.
“She wasn’t being the mum that I knew from when I was a little boy.”
“The amount of love she gave me was so immense and that’s what I missed so much.”
He also spoke about the challenges the family faced during that period.
“Mum was on drugs, and she could not look after us, and that’s the reality of it. She couldn’t. And then I got fed up. I clocked on that this was a very unhealthy environment, and I needed to get out.”
Junior said his father provided the structure and support he needed.

“Thank God my dad was stable, because that’s the house I went to and gained my sanity back.”
“It made me feel like I wasn’t good enough, because she wasn’t fixing herself for me, she wasn’t fixing herself for us.”
However, Junior also reflected on happier memories from his childhood, describing Price as a loving and fun parent.
“Mum is a very fun mum. Very loving, in her own way.”
“There weren’t really many rules, just imagine kids running around, high on sugar.”
Princess said that while life with their mother could be unpredictable, it was never boring.
“You never have a boring day with her, there is always something going on in her life.”
The pair also praised Peter Andre for providing routine and boundaries while they were growing up.
Price stars in the four-part documentary series, which is produced by Louis Theroux’s Mindhouse production company.
The reality star has recently entered a new chapter in her life after marrying Lee Andrews, while continuing to face public attention surrounding her personal life.

Speaking previously about her journey, Price said she believes people often have a view of her based on headlines rather than the full story.
“I’ve been on a rollercoaster journey, and there’s so much that’s been written about me over the years.”
“People believe everything. They all think they know me. I know I’ve done reality shows, and don’t get me wrong, I’m an open book, and people do know a lot about me, but the question is: do they know everything? And the answer is no, they don’t.”
Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, a four-part Sky Original series, is available on Sky and streaming service NOW.
