Piers Morgan has undergone a hip replacement surgery after suffering a fall in London.
The TV presenter and journalist is recovering from the procedure after falling on a "small step" at a London hotel restaurant, which resulted in him fracturing his femur, he confirmed on social media.
On X, Morgan wrote: "New year off to a cracking start, I blame [US president] Donald Trump".

Piers Morgan currently hosts his own YouTube show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Previously, the reporter began his career in journalism with The Sun in the late 1980s, before becoming editor of The News Of The World and The Mirror. He later ventured into broadcasting, hosting shows like Piers Morgan's Life Stories and Good Morning Britain.
He also served as a judge on ITV show, Britain's Got Talent.
In March 2021, Morgan famously walked off the set of Good Morning Britain, after saying that he did not believe claims made by Meghan Markle during her and Prince Harry's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
"Hang on, are we just going to ignore the fact I haven’t been here for 1,453 days?", Morgan remarked.
The presenter than offered to hug Reid, which she initially turned down, saying: "No, I don’t want a hug".
After being encouraged to hug by Morgan, the pair embraced, before former MP, Balls hugged Morgan, "We don’t mind hugging". Ed Balls did assure Morgan that Reid did not hug him either, to which Reid said: "No, I don’t do hugs, as you know".
Piers Morgan then said that Reid had "moved on so fast" to a new co presenter. To this, Susanna Reid replied: "I’ve got a couple of new husbands now".
