We'll be the first to admit it and hold our hands up when we're wrong, and we just might be changing our tune on legacy sequels.
The fourth instalment in the Fockers film series comes in the form of Focker-in-Law, set for release this November. It's the sequel to Little Fockers (2010), in which we're first introduced to Greg and Pam's twins, Henry and Samantha.
16 years later, Greg and Samantha are all grown-up and have partners of their own to introduce to the chaos of the Focker-Byrnes clan.
It's John Hamburg's first foray as a director into the Focker universe, but Jay Roach, who directed Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, has signed on as a producer on the project. Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller also serve as producers.

The returning cast has us excited for the project's release. Ben Stiller and Teri Polo return as Greg and Pam Focker, Henry's parents, while Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner return as Jack and Dina Byrnes, Henry's grandparents.
We also get a sneak peek at Owen Wilson in the trailer, who reprises his role as the go-with-the-flow romantic that is Kevin Rawley.
The returning cast is ageing like fine wine; it's hard to believe it's been a decade and a half since we last saw them in action in the Focker franchise, because it feels like barely any time has passed.

As aforementioned, Skyler Gisondo takes on the role of Henry, a role previously played by Colin Baiocchi in younger days, while Beanie Feldstein stars opposite him as his sister, Samantha, taking over from Daisy Tahan.
Other newcomers to the cast obviously include Ariana Grande, who plays a former FBI hostage negotiator (those skills will come in handy) and Henry's potential bride-to-be, Olivia, while Stranger Things actor Eduardo Franco steps in as Samantha's boyfriend.

Focker-in-Law is scheduled to be released in Ireland on November 25, 2026, and we have very high hopes after watching that trailer.
