On the first night of their residency at Dublin's 3Arena, Westlife brought out Irish boxing legend, Katie Taylor onto the stage.
Westlife began this residency last night (September 10), the first of a record breaking thirteen nights at the venue, before they head over to Belfast of shows at the 02 Arena.
This comes after Katie Taylor signed off on her boxing career with a points victory over French fighter, Flora Pili in Croke Park on Saturday evening, becoming an undisputed World Champion for the third time, as she defended her WBO, WBA, IBF and Ring Magazine titles, as well as taking home the WBC Super Lightweight belt.
It later emerged that this fight brought in a peak audience of 1.6 million viewers on RTÉ television. More on this here.
On the night, Westlife also performed live at the event, along with Aoife Scott and Róisín O.
Last night, Katie Taylor joined the band on stage, draped in the Irish tricolour flag, with Westlife later sharing a photo on Instagram, which you can check out below.

This residency is part of a huge Anniversary world tour for Westlife, celebrating 25 years as a band. The tour will see them perform in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Westlife will perform the second night of their 3Arena residency tonight, as well as 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 of this month.
