A microphone which was used and owned by Amy Winehouse is among a collection of items from influential women in music which are to go under the hammer.
The microphone, a Shure SM58 microphone to give its full title, was used by the late singer in studio sessions, and is expected to sell for between £1,000 and £2,000 in the Propstore auction.
Other items include a portrait print by Piper Ferguson from Winehouse's 2007 Coachella Show, which is expected to fetch between £400 and £800. Elsewhere a letter which was sent by Kate Bush to dancer and artist Adam Darius in 1980 is to sell for between £400 and £800, while a letter sent by Madonna to her personal assistant Melissa Crow, where she writes about her stay in New Orleans and upcoming European Tour is set to sell for between £500 and £1,000.
There are other Madonna items under the hammer, including a signed 20th anniversary Squier Telecaster guitar, featuring her custom artwork and signed in blue marker, as well as a signed promotional photo with 'Love Madonna' inscribed on it. It is expected to sell for between £500 and £1,000.
A Super Bowl promotional event custom helmet which was created for Lady Gaga in 2017, also features. It was gifted to an event staffer, valued between £600 and £1,200. A photo matched Jetpack Him (m)e jacket, which was worn by Billie Eilish, is valued at £1,000 and £1,200.
A rare collection of Spice Girl items, including a Rolling Stone magazine which was signed by all five members in 1997. Dressing room signs and a promotional box of Spice Girls chocolates also feature in the collection, set to sell for between £300 and £600.
The Ultimate Mistress Of Music Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year Award which was won by Rihanna in 2007 will also go under the hammer at this auction, expected to make between £500 and £1,000.
Speaking about the Music Memorabilia Live Auction, Miranda McCabe, Propstore's director of marketing had this to say.
"Each piece of music memorabilia heading to Propstore’s auction tells a story not just of fame, but of some incredibly memorable moments of creativity that shaped each artist’s public and personal identities", she stated. "Collectively, they reveal how these women have influenced fashion, performance and cultural imagination across generations".
This auction will start at 3pm on October 23 at London's Cumberland Hotel, and October 24 with the second day taking place online only. It is also being dedicated to Oasis memorabilia.
