It was announced that tickets would go on sale on Friday (September 12) at 10am via Ticketmaster, as well as in person via the Vicar Street box office, which will open at 10am on the same date, and can be purchased at face value €65.70 / €63.70 or Balcony standing €61.

No service charge will be applied for people who buy their tickets at the box office in person.

It was also also confirmed that an expanded edition of Moore's No1 album, 'A Terrible Beauty' is to be released later this year.

Back in June, Christy Moore also paid a spoken word tribute to outgoing President Michael D Higgins, who is currently serving his second term in the hot seat, having served in the role since 2011. Moore read out a poem from Johnny Broderick, Music To Our Ears which was released with an accompanying lyric video.
